He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolf Pechacek and Milada Pechacek (Benys); his siblings, Dan Pechacek, Margie Wilson, Dorothy Henderson and Irene Lawn; and his son-in-law Dr. Rey Tolentino.

He is survived by: his wife Ginger; his children, Johnny Pechacek (Lori), Jana Quisenberry (Roy) of Quanah and Cindy Tolentino of Vernon; and his grandchildren, Renee, Kevin, Glen, Adam, Eric and Ryan. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel (210 W 3rd St, Quanah, TX 79252). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (611 Mercer St, Quanah, TX 79252).

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in Quanah, Texas.
