She was predeceased by : her parent Mimia Jane Scott Gooding; her husband Ralph Barnes of Quanah; her son-in-law Gene Crowder of Granbury; her father Will G. Gooding; and her siblings, Aubrey "Hob" Hamrick of Quanah, Nancy Barbee of Goodlett, Scottie Gates of Pampa, Francis Lamb of Pampa, Bill Gooding of Fort Worth, Texas and Everett of Goodlett.

She is survived by : her children, Lanita Tidmore (Jeff Tidmore) of Canyon, Texas, Marita Crowder of Granbury, Texas, Jimmy Barnes of Wichita Falls, Texas and Gary Barnes of Eagle Nest. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
