He was predeceased by: his birth father Thomas H. Dixon; and his father Charles John Lewis. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Johnson Lewis of Texarkana, Arkansas; his siblings, John Lewis (April) of Crosby, Texas and Terry Ekaitis (George) of Hemet, California; and his siblings' children, Heather Ekaitis of Ontario, California and Steven Ekaitis of McAlester, Oklahoma.
