He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Wilson and Violet Crouse (Larson); and his significant other Rosella. He is survived by: his children, Melinda Ross (Richard "Ross") and Michael Jay Crouse; and his stepsons, John Buckner (Debbie) and Jeff Buckner (Toni). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.

He cared about his community and mankind in general and was committed to charity work with children.
