Robert Walter Ewart Obituary
It is with great sadness that I must report the passing of Robert Walter Ewart. Bob was diagnosed with a terminal illness in March of this year and passed peacefully on July 22, 2025. Robert was born in Trenton, New Jersey on March 23, 1945, to Harold R. Ewart and Marian W. Ewart (White). Robert lived in Trenton, New Jersey until 1954, when his family moved to Forked River, New Jersey. Robert was a U.S Army Veteran, serving from April 1966 to April 1968. He was deployed to Thailand in support of the Viet Nam War during his active-duty service. Following his discharge from the U.S. Army, he was a Heavy Equipment Operator, working for the Brick Wall Corporation for over twenty years.
In 2009 he moved his family to Quinlan Texas. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and riding off-road motorcycles. He was proud of his firearms/shooting skills that enabled him to win the 1985 New Jersey State Trap Shooting Championship. He also won numerous Trophies related to Motorcycle Enduro Riding.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, and his wife of thirty-eight years, Evelyn E. Ewart. Robert is survived by his son Thomas Robert Ewart, of Quinlan Texas, his brother, Richard T. Ewart, of Miami, Florida, and his nephews Adam R. Ewart and Jared T. Ewart of Forked River, New Jersey.
Bob did not want a Memorial Service. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Bob's Memory should do so to a Charity of their choosing.
His family takes comfort in the knowledge that that Bob had a good and honorable life, and that he is now resting in the Arms of Jesus. May he Rest In Peace.
