He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Eugene Pilgrim, Sr. and Letha George Pilgim (George); and his half-brother Jesse Eugene Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Karen Pilgrim of Quitman; his children, Letha Pilgrim of McKinney, Gene Pilgrim Jr. of Garland, Terry Pilgrim of Quitman and Cherri Westing (Roger) of Quitman; his grandchildren, Kaelyn Forbes, Jonathan Westing (Mel), Jared Pilgrim (Marianne), Amber Westing, Andrew Castro, Jillian Castro, Annabel Pilgrim, Abigail Pilgrim, Colt Pilgrim and Amelia Jean Pilgrim; and his great grandchild Josephine Pilgrim.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Myrtle Springs Cemetery (2185 FM2225, Quitman, TX 75783).
