With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Grady Leon Barnard of Quitman, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 19, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Grady is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Leon Barnard and Thelma Marie Barnard (Brown); and his wife Nancy Barnard (Smith). He is survived by: his children, Grady Barnard of Quitman, Texas and Carmen Nixon; his grandchildren, Nicole Brehm, Ryan Hammonds, Lauren Barnard and Noah Barnard; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Olivia Brehm, Beau, Hayes and Laine Hammonds. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
