The passing of Melba Jo Sikes of Quitman, Texas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 23, 2024 at the age of 83. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse E. Jones and Ida B. Flemming Jones; and her siblings, John Jones, Lucille Smith, Helen King, Bobbie Licudan and Geneva Hanley.

She is survived by : her children, Henry Sikes, Jr. (Jaxie), Tommy Sikes (Jennifer) and Dorothy McKinnon (Jim); her grandchildren, Jennifer Sikes (Raymond), Hannah Bailey, Rachel Bailey, Tyler Brown (Marina), Jackson Sikes, Emma Sikes, Cosondra Bridges (Colby) and Lauren; her brother James Jones (Georgia); and also Tanner. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bright-Holland Funeral Home (2601 Lamar Ave, Paris, TX 75460).
