He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Moreland Turner and Gailya Ann Turner (Cornelius); and his grandparents, Bryan, Lorene Cornelius, Homer and Maurice Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Turner of Quitman; his children, Christopher Turner (Mishea) of Quitman and Lacey Turner (Michael) of Quitman; his grandson Elijah Turner; and his sisters, Misti Nichols of Quitman and Mindi Turner of Sulphur Springs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations (1102 E Goode St, Quitman, TX 75783). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at the Ebenezer Cemetery (1410 N 14, Quitman, TX 75783).
