It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lanny Jay Harrison in Raywood, Texas, born in Orange, Texas, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Odom Harrison and Rebecca Gaskey Harrison; and his brothers, John Ronald "Cotton" Harrison and Harold Edwin Canant. He is survived by: his wife Diana Harrison; his children, Tracy Renee Hill, Jolea Marie Anderson (Brady Lee Hard), Jade Elaine Keith, Kaden Diane Keith, Kendrick Jon Jenkins, Billy Emanuel Vail, John Wilson Vail (Crystal) and Amanda Lea Whitmire; and his brother Tommy Lynn Harrison (Gaye Nell). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his one niece.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith & Family Funeral Services (40847 TX-105, Batson, TX 77519). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Guedry Cemetery (11713 Batson Prairie Rd, Batson, TX 77519).
