She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Leonard Thurman Pilant and Louise Renell Laughter; her sons, Lee Thurman and Jon Harry (Michelle); her grandchildren, Jon Christopher (Lauren Taylor), Kristen Patricia and Gabriel Jerome Young; and her great grandchild Whitten Lee. She was also cherished by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
