He was predeceased by : his father Virgil Helm. He is survived by : his mother Wanda Helm (Payne) of Desoto, Texas; his wife Darla Helm of Red Oak, Texas; his children, James Smith of Desoto and Christian (Jon White) of Red Oak, Texas; his grandchildren, Leiland Smith, Peightyn White and Grayson White; his brothers, Monte (Anna Helm) and Greg (Amber Helm); and his nieces, Lauren Helm and Landry Helm. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
