He is survived by: his children, Kelly North, Kenn North (Lydia), Tonya Gosnay (Carl) and Wayne North (Terry); his sister Liz Sloan; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Hunsucker and Barbara Willoughby. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
