Though John Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his sister Irene "Renee" Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Ana Sym; and his children, Christine Prieto, John R. Sym Jr., Linda Nunez and Michael Sym. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
