He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Archibald and Bobbie Nell Cheek (Shelton); his siblings, David Mark Cheek, Ricky Cheek, Monte Cheek and Deborah Luanne Cheek; and his nephew Rodney Dlabaj.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Cheek of Rice; his daughters, Rena Poole of Mesquite and Vanessa Cheek (Michael Gamboa); his grandchildren, Patrick Morris (Shanna Morris) of Haslet, Holly Ware (Paul Ware) of Knoxville, TN, Brianna DeHart (Dakota DeHart) of Rice, Jacob Looney (Jasmine Looney) of Corpus Christi, Tommy Bernal Jr. of Rice and Davien Martinez of Garrett; his siblings, Jack Cheek (Diane), Dale Cheek, Sharon Haden (Doug) and Misty Benet (Jason); and his aunt Larue Jenkins. He is also survived by 8 Great-Granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews.
