He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Henry Saffle and Mary Christine Copeland Saffle; his wife Linda Gail Raney Saffle; his grandchildren, Nathan Saffle (Cassandra) of Cloudcroft, Jacob Saffle (Ashley) of Richards, Ben Saffle (Sammy Hetrick) of Hermiston, Oregon, Zach Saffle (Taylor) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kaila Saffle Emery (Josh) of Eldorado, Arkansas, Jonathan Saffle (Meagan) of Burleson, Emalee Saffle of Conway, Arkansas and Eron (Bailey Bertolani) of Clinton; and his great grandchildren, Noah Saffle, Dylan Saffle, Wyatt Saffle, Lucas Saffle, Elena Saffle, Olivia Saffle, Adaline Emery, Quinn Emery, Nathaniel Emery, McKinsey Emery, Finn Saffle, Lane Saffle, Dean Saffle and Amelia Bertolani.

He is survived by: his sons, Dave Saffle (Gayle Montgomery Saffle) of Richards and Bryan Saffle (Vickie Fluker Saffle) of Burleson; his niece Peggy Ottosen (Brad) of Magnolia; and his nephew Tommy Olin (Hazel) of Magnolia.
