She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Buman and Myrtle Buman (Metzer); her husband Gordan Swanson; her daughter Marcia; her grandson Nicolas; and her sisters, Marjorie and Carol.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nanci, Debra and Wendy; her grandchildren, Jason Shives, Jeremy Shives, Amanda Locus (Mark) and Scott Perkins (Vanessa); and her great grandchildren, Addison and Conner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sparkman Funeral Home & Cremation Service (1029 S Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75081).
