He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Madison; his sons, Kacy Madison of Richardson and Mark Madison (Piper) of Lubbock, Texas; his grandchildren, Carter, Brody, Brayden and Samantha; and his sister-in-law Anita Morris (Michael) of Dallas. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family request that memorial donations be made in Dickie's name to Feed My Starving Children, an organization close to his heart.
