It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonathan Scott Perdue of Richardson, Texas, who passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jonathan leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Jonathan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He is survived by: his mother Susan McHorse Perdue (McHorse); his wife Lesleigh Joy Perdue (Carr); his children, Noah, Elijah and Lucía Perdue; his father William Gene Perdue Jr. of Hewitt; and his siblings, Christopher Perdue (Stephanie Sotelo Perdue) of Tustin, Stephen Andrew Perdue (Roxana Loa Perdue) of Apex and Sarah Catherine Hess (Matthew Hess) of Boulder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
