She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Benson King and Essie Viola Smith King; her siblings, Shirley Beth King, Oney Chafin, Franklin Brevard, Mary King and Harriet Ann King Prinz; and her nieces, Nancie Leigh Chafin Craft and Margaret Ann Chafin.

She is survived by : her husband Charles Kemp; her son Joel "Todd" Martin (Robin Martin); her grandson Blake Martin; her great grandchild Kadence Danielson; and her nieces and nephews, Stephanie Prinz McAtee, Bard Chafin, Kate Chafin Robertson, Kellie Prinz Johnson, Tracy King, Angela King Adams, Tami King, Catherine Kemp Szenasi, Thomas Kemp, Wanda Northcutt, Janice Clark and Jackie Clark. She is also survived by great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
