Washington-Bright; his siblings, Samuel Washington (Barbara), Carol Sterling (Jessie), Edward Washington (Shirley), Wilhelmina Alexander (Calvin) and William Washington (Rogerwene); and his mother-in-law Rev. Annie Mae Jackson.
He is survived by: his spouse Catheline Washington; and his children, Debra, Kim, Lewis Washington Jr., Ava Mitchell (Steven), Michelle Holland (Roy) and Darryl Williams. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crescent City Boxing Club (3101 Erato St, New Orleans, LA 70125).
