He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary of David's Episcopal Church; his children, Erin Elizabeth Pettus and Riann Christine Moore; his grandchildren, Rowan Elizabeth Moore, Connell William Moore and Charlotte Christine Pettus; and his sons-in-law, Daniel Pettus and Stevenson Moore.
