It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Cleveland Harvey in Richardson, Texas, who passed away on May 20, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Platner and Cleveland Harvey; his sisters, Gene Stauber and Marjorie Parks; and his niece Elaine Stauber.
He is survived by: his wife Jolynne Bush Harvey; his daughter Kalynne (Michael); his granddaughters, Jacqueline, Julia Welsh of Springfield and Virginia; his daughter Melinda (Stacey); his grandchildren, Sophie, Margaux and Ian Lawrence of Richardson; and his niece Michele Crockett.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Richardson (503 N Central Expy, Richardson, TX 75080).
