He was predeceased by : his parents, John Lawson and Archie Ray Bond; his daughter Beverly; and his siblings, James, Glynn, Morris, Jerry, Archie, Helen, Eloise and Mel.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley; his children, Stewart and Carol; his son-in-law Tom; and his brothers, Louis and Joe Bond. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
