He is survived by: his wife Helen Faye Adkins; his children, Barry Adkins (Karla) and Kathy Stauffacher; his brother Herbert W. Adkins; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Michelle, David II and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Silas, Ethan, Evelyn, Lucas and Madison. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
