Edward Owens Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Owens of Richmond, Texas, who passed away on August 29, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie S. Owens, Sr. and Nina Freeman Owens; and his brothers, Willie Owens, Jr., Walter Owens and Theotis Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Sherri Owens; his son Quenton Edward Owens (Sarah); his siblings, Ruby Baker of Auburn and Steven Jackson of Auburn; and his granddaughter Destini Layla-Marie Owens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
