It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Michael Rose (Richmond, Texas), who passed away on January 22, 2020, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Eugene A. Rose and Cecelia A. Rojefski; his former wife Lizzie Rose Buonomo; his son James Matthew Rose; his granddaughter Caroline Lindsey Rose; his children, Malesa Oglesbee Rose, Jack Rose, Emma Grace Rose and Alexandra Rose (Juan Hernández); and his grandchildren, Asher Balin and Hudson Balin.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to EVkids, a non-profit tutoring program for children that Michael supported.

“My boys & I lived next door to Mike and his family for 38 years! He was a wonderful neighbor and we watched out for each other's house's depending on who was in or out of town. We were lucky get to babysit Nina when their family was out of town, which made Cody and Corwin (my boys) very happy! And our dog Billie too! Mike & I liked to read and I remember us talking about what books we thought Alexandria and Cody would like, and encourage them to read! He was SO proud of Alexandria!🌹A lovin Dad!”
