JoAnn leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. JoAnn’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Schaatt and Helen Schaatt; her husband Dalton Ross Hargis; and her brothers, Cliff, Norbert and Don Schaatt.
She is survived by: her aunt Jo Ann. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in JoAnn Hargis name be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, Texas or a charity of your choice.
