With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Walker Jr. of Richmond, Texas, who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walker and Maddie Walker (Maud); his sisters, Reba Stutts and Dorothy Cason; and his son Richard Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Walker; his children, John Paul Walker (Carol Ann), Laurie Walker-Stubblefield (Chris), Dani Brown (Peter), Micki Lafferman and Janiece Snelling (David); and his grandchildren, Ryan Walker, Cody Walker, Kaylee Walker, Brett Leopold, Zachary Leopold, Naomi Bjorklund, Noah Wolcott, Johnny Salazar, Josh Salazar, Stephen Lafferman, Justin Talasek, Jake Talasek, Samuel Snelling and Rhiana DeStefano. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home (3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
