She was predeceased by: her parents, Maximo Canales and Gumecinda Padron Canales. She is survived by: her husband Macario Sixtos Jr.; and her siblings, Minerva Canales Gallardo, Margie Canales, Margarito Canales, Manuel Canales (Sadie), Miguel Canales (Yolanda), Maximo Canales Jr. (Sarah), Mauricio Canales Sr. and Martin Canales Sr. (Estela). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seydler-Hill Funeral Home (906 St Paul St, Gonzales, TX 78629). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (417 N College St, Gonzales, TX 78629).
