Lucinda Lopez Olvera Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucinda Lopez Olvera of Rio Hondo, Texas, who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel P. Lopez and Maria Cruz Lugo Lopez; and her sister Lydia L. Calderon. She is survived by: her husband Teodoro H. Olvera; her children, Sandra Olvera and Michael Olvera (Norma); her grandchildren, Brianna Lopez (Oracio), Christian J. Olvera, Clarissa M. Olvera, Enrique Rodriguez Jr. and Isaiah M. Olvera; her great grandchild Brayden Oriel Lopez; her siblings, Mary Lou Ponce (Carlos), Rene Lopez (Nora) and Leticia Sparks (Andy); and her daughter Sandy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home (1400 E Business 77, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
