He is survived by: his wife Carmela Rivas Prieto; his sons, Elizardo Rivas, Miguel Angel Rivas (Lindsey Rivas) and Pedro Jr. Rivas; his grandchildren, Violet, Angel, Neveah, Olivia and Niko; and his siblings, Lidia, Dora, Esperanza, Antonio, Blanca Patricia, Norma Graciela and Teresa Rivas.
