He is survived by: his wife Julia "Frances" Guthrie; his daughter Pamela Nazir; his son-in-law Waqas Nazir; his grandchildren, Zain of San Antonio, Texas. and Zaara Nazir of San Antonio, Texas.; his siblings, James Guthrie of Clinton, MD, Delores Guthrie of Upper Marlboro, MD and Violet Guthrie-Miller of Richmond, VA; and his aunt Deborah Cousins of Erwin, NC. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
