She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Ruth Thornton and Jack Dwight Thornton. She is survived by: her children, Amy Kuligowski and John Young; her grandchildren, Brynlee, Kaleb, Jenna and Jacob; her great grandchild Parker; her brother Jack Thornton; and her former husband Richard Young.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Waco Memorial Park (6623 I-35, Robinson, TX 76706). A reception will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waco Memorial Funeral Home Reception Center (6623 I-35, Robinson, TX 76706).
