He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Lilburn and Teresa Marie Roberts (Blackwell); his wife Frances Charlene Wood; his brother-in-law Jim Wood; and his nephew Mike Wood.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Roberts (Ronnie) of Sweetwater, Tennessee, Tracey Greene (Gary) of Moody and Laurie Weldy (Brad) of Rockport, Texas.; his grandchildren, Christopher, Richard, Jared Roberts, Stephanie Greene Brueggeman (Colin), Sarah Greene, Heather Horton (Casey) and Emily Weldy; his great grandchild Caydi Horton; and his brother-in-law Richard Wood (Marilyn).
