He was predeceased by : his parents, Maria Maciel and Andres Maciel; his siblings, Trinidad, Joe Maciel, Hope Soto and Irene Salazar; his siblings-in-law, Dodie Maciel, Linda Maciel, Eva Maciel, Manuel Q. Perez, Jr. and Jose Soto; and his nephew Andy Maciel.
He is survived by : his wife Sally Maciel; his siblings, Jesse Maciel, Johnny Maciel, Gloria Gonzalez, Andrea Perez and Victoria Mata of Dallas; his nieces and nephews, Teresa Gonzalez, Maria Maciel, Stella Salazar, Rodney Gonzalez, Jesse Gonzalez and Jesse Maciel, Jr. (Cristina); his stepdaughters, Donna Freed (Curt) of McKinney, Bonny Krahn (Stephen) of Wimberley and Kerry Pickens of Albuquerque; his stepgrandchildren, Tristan Farias and Xavier Pickens; his granddaughter Beth Freed; his great grandchild Eli of McKinney; his grandson Eric Gomez (Mary); his great grandchildren, Shiloh and Fisher; his grandson Greg Freed (Ashley); his great grandchild Leo; his granddaughter Marianna Espinoza (Josue); and also, Jordan, Isabel, Selah and Elijah.
