He is survived by: his father Baldemar Silva; his wife Maria Norma Garza Silva; his children, Baldemar G Silva III, Liza Marie Silva (Michael Velasquez) and Brenda Lee Silva (Christian Brehmer); his grandchildren, Kacey Alivia Velasquez and Joley Marie Velasquez; and his siblings, Diana Zaragoza (late Juan), Velma Moreno (Tomas), Norma Flores (late Ramiro), Marcos Silva (Tomasita), Sandy Rivera (Francisco) and Rene Silva (Laura). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, lifelong friends.
