He was predeceased by: his parents, Damas Jr. Verdin and Janie Verdin; his son Daniel H. Verdin; and his half-brothers, Filemon Verdin and Felix Verdin.
He is survived by: his wife Lupita Verdin; his children, Matilde Verdin-Garcia (LeRoy), Michael Verdin (Salinda), Paul Verdin (Michelle) and Louie Verdin; his grandchildren, Roy Reyna Jr., Benjamin Reyna, Ashley Rizo (Frank), Isaiah Verdin (Janelle), Lori Powell (Justin), Michael Verdin (Frank), Gerard Verdin, Jordan Verdin and Ezra Verdin; and his sisters, Eudelia Medina (Phil) and Herlinda Saldivar (Ramiro). He is also survived by 17 Great Grandchildren, many nieces, nephews & friends.
