He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Juan, Eva Cavazos and Oscar A. Ortiz. He is survived by: his parents, Rafael L. Cavazos and Irma Ortiz Cavazos; his daughter Angelina Fernandez; his grandmother Esperanza Ortiz; and his siblings, Krystal Freyer, Martin Cavazos and Guadalupe Cavazos. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ramon Funeral Home (800 Lincoln Ave, Robstown, TX 78380). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (204 Dunne Ave, Robstown, TX 78380). A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Anthony's Cemetery.
