She is survived by: her mother Amelia Mondragon Alanis; her friend Olivia; her husband Hilario "Chito" Cardenas Sr.; her siblings, Juan Alanis, Fred Alanis, Mary Lou Edwards and Josie Naranjo; and her children, Hilario "Larry" Cardenas Jr., Amelia Cardenas Aguilar (Carmelo), Ramiro Cardenas (Margaret), Lydia Cardenas (Willie) and Cynthia Banda (late Floyd). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ramon Funeral Home (800 Lincoln Ave, Robstown, TX 78380). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
