Deveris Holmes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deveris Holmes of Rochester, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Deveris Holmes to pay them a last tribute.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Deveris had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Deveris may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Holmes and Ileta Holmes; and his brothers, Gayle Holmes and Lynn Holmes. He is survived by: his sons, Jeremy Eaton (Lynnzie) and Adam Holmes (Ashley); and his siblings, Alan Holmes (Jennifer) of Haskell, TX and Donna Patterson of Rochester, TX.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Rochester Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Enhabit Hospice Care in Hoot's memory.
