She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry B. Ellison and Annie Irene Ellison; her husband Lenton Speer; her siblings, Henry Dean Ellison and Hartense Ellison Rodgers; her brother-in-law Benton Speer; and her grandson Matt Lehmkuhl.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Speer (Betty) of Marquez, Tim Speer (Alice) of Marquez and Deborah Burrough (Mike) of Rockdale; her grandchildren, Michelle Lehmkuhl of Georgetown, Kent Speer (Tina) of Marquez and Lance Burrough (Jennifer) of Liberty Hill; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah Lehmkuhl, Parker Burrough, Kendall, Melanie, Clay, Brody, Barrett, Sydney Speer and Kyla; her siblings, Hugo Ellison (Pansy) and Billie Speer of Marquez; her grandsons, Kyle Speer, Ben Speer and Tyler Lehmkuhl; and her nephews, Brett Rodgers, Bruce Ellison, Brad Ellison, Shane Ellison, Todd Ellison, Rick Morris and Roger Willis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
