She was predeceased by: her husband Raul Ruiz; her son Sonny Ruiz; and her grandson Pete (Carlos Lombraña). She is survived by: her children, Dora Salas, Felix Ruiz, Elvira Vasques, Grace Flores and Gus Ruiz.
Her life was a quiet testament to the virtues of charity, humility, and hope.
