She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Stooks and Eleanor Stooks; her husband James H. Walters; her siblings, Allen Stooks, Nancy McClary and Linda Lindquist; her siblings-in-law, Jacqueline Stooks and Carl Lindquist; and her nephew James Walters (Jamie).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Walters, James Walters (Twyla), Kimberlee Walters-Sanders (Doug), Lisa Sagnibene (Joe) and Steve Mischloney; her grandchildren, Adam Coblentz, AJ Coblentz, Brianna Wilkes, Alora Wilkerson, J. Mason Sagnibene, Cody Sagnibene, J. Maxwell Walters, Haylee Hood, Jayden Sagnibene, Emilee Sanders and Casen Sanders; and her great grandchildren, Bryant Stooks, Russell Stooks and David Stooks.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dallas Area Parkinson Society (DAPS) or the Garland Animal Shelter and Adoption Center in her honor.
