Charisse Ann Backus Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charisse Ann Backus of Rockwall, Texas, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret L. Stiteler (McClelland); her husband Darren Wayne Backus; her brother David Stiteler; her mother-in-law Margie Backus; and her pet Buffy.

She is survived by: her sister Terri Stiteler; her father David J. Stiteler (Linda); her grandsons, Lane and Ledger; her daughter Meccala Wright (Shane); her grandson Luke; her sister Terri Robes (Allan); her father-in-law Wayne Backus; her sister-in-law Clarinda Johnson (Brian); her niece Brandi Womble (Nathan); her great-nephews, Dakota, Dax, Kasen and Kessler; and her nephew Christopher Johnson (Natalie). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
