He was predeceased by: his parents, Arturo Lopez Aleman and Antonia Garza Aleman; and his brothers, Arthur G. Aleman, Samuel G. Aleman and Moses A. Aleman.

He is survived by: his wife Ella Bertha Sepulveda Aleman of Rockwall, Texas; his children, Daniel Aleman Jr. (Debbie) of Mesquite and Edie Aleman Thompson (Dan) of Heath; his grandchildren, Jennifer Aleman Salazar (Tito) of Rockwall, Stephanie Aleman of Mesquite, Angela Kamps Sullivan (Ian) of Garland and Joshua Aleman (Holly) of Scurry; his great grandchildren, Aiyana Brown, Hudson Castillo, Daniel Aleman, Jasper Sullivan, Daniella Salazar, Garrison Aleman, Henry Aleman and Simon Aleman; and his sister Eunice Aleman Gonzalez of Austin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
