He was predeceased by: his mother Margie Ann Backus (Reeves); and his pet Buffy'. He is survived by: his father Wayne Everett Backus; his wife Charisse Backus (Stiteler); his grandchildren, Luke, Lane and Ledger; his sister Clarinda Johnson (Brian); his great-nephews, Dakota, Dax, Kasen and Kessler; his nephew Christopher Johnson (Natalie); his siblings-in-law, Terri Stiteler (Allan) and David Stiteler; and his father-in-law David Stiteler (Linda). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
