With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denman Earl Cox of Rockwall, Texas, born in Blum, Texas, who passed away on August 20, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Cox and Ruth Cox (Lucus); his wife Vickie Kay Cox; his sons, Gene Cox, John Pettus and Mike Pettus; his brother Wendell; and his former wife Wanda.
He is survived by: his children, Brad Cox (Barbara), Tim Pettus (Carol), Kathy Duke and Dedra Hicks (Jeff); his grandchildren, Hanna, Haden, Hunter, Bradley, Ashley, Jessica of Tyler, R. J., Tony, Cyndee, Carrie, Brooke and Kain; and his sister Carma Hook. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rosehill Cemetery (405 Watters St, Cleburne, TX 76033).
