He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Bridges and Edna Bridges (Makins); his wife Wilma Jean Bridges; his son Terry Bridges (Karen); his grandson Derrek Bridges; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Bridges.
He is survived by: his son Garry Bridges; and his grandchildren, Kristie Todd (Brian Rust), Jared Bridges (Melissa Page), Jonathan Bridges (Sharon Bean) and Jathen Bridges (Alicia). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Clayton Funeral Home (301 W Nash St, Terrell, TX 75160). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Highland Memorial Gardens (17945 TX-34, Terrell, TX 75161).
