He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Ray Barnett Sr. and Roberta Ellen (Patton); and his siblings, Eddie Barnett Jr. and Ina Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Barnett; his children, Stephenie Barnett and George Barnett Jr.; his grandchildren, Micah Barnett, Caleb Wright and April Wright; and his great grandchildren, Silis Martinez, Vera Fay Wright and Eva Rose Wright.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall (2500 TX-66, Rockwall, TX 75087). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rest Haven Memorial Park (2500 TX-66, Rockwall, TX 75087).
